Teen model Daisy Lowe gave her support to Christian Aid during a favela fashion show in Brazil.
In Calafate, a poor area notorious for drugs and crime, she visited Christian Aid's partner organisation, the Coordinating Committee for Ecumenical Service. It provides a safe haven for local women to make and sell clothes to improve their lives.
Daisy modelled the women’s creations. 'It gave me a fresh perspective,' she told us. 'When I do a show in London or New York, I'll think "Actually, all this doesn't matter that much." '
