The results of the 2015 Divine poetry competition are in!
Every year, we collaborate with our friends at Divine Chocolate to run a poetry competition. It’s an opportunity for your class to learn more about the benefits of fairtrade and to get creative by crafting poetry all about fairtrade and cocoa farming.
The theme for 2015 was ‘When I grow up, I want to be a cocoa farmer’, encouraging budding poets to think about the benefits of fairly-paid cocoa farming as a career choice.
John Dougherty, leading children’s author and poet, helped to judge the competition, and was impressed with the entries. Find out who the winners were, and hear John read the winning poems here.
