Twelve-year-old Eduardo is building his school.
In the UK and Ireland, we are fortunate enough to live in relatively peaceful times. Across the world, however, wars and fighting affect the lives of millions of people every day.
During Angola's bitter civil war, Eduardo and his family had to hide from soldiers in rivers and the forest. When the war ended, Eduardo's family were able to begin to rebuild their lives and their village, which had been destroyed.
This assembly tells Eudardo's story and looks at what IECA, Christian Aid's partner organisation in Angola, is doing to help build peace. It is ideal to use around Remembrance Day.
