Hunger

Our latest resources explore the importance of food in a world with a population of seven billion.

Our assembly, presentation and activites aim to help pupils understand the importance of the major food groups and to appreciate the abundance of food available.

They also help them reflect on what it means to be hungry, and to recognise that many people around the world are often hungry, to question why this is so, and to reflect on the injustice and wastefulness at the heart of global hunger.
