Christian Aid volunteer teachers and school speakers are experienced professionals who visit primary and secondary schools on a voluntary basis. With a wealth of knowledge about development issues, our volunteer teachers bring a global dimension to the classroom.
Our activities are flexible and can be tailored to the needs of the school. They could involve:
taking an assembly
working on a class project about a developing country
discussing the work of an overseas development agency with a GCSE group
taking part in an enrichment day for KS4 pupils on an issue such as conflict, climate change or poverty.
Please feel free to contact us on the addresses below if you would like to request a Christian Aid volunteer teacher visit your school or if you would like to find out more about becoming a volunteer teacher.
