Our activities are flexible and can be tailored to the needs of the school. They could involve:
taking an assembly
working on a class project about a developing country
discussing the work of an overseas development agency with a GCSE group
taking part in an enrichment day for KS4 pupils on an issue such as conflict, climate change or poverty.
We're always on the look out for new volunteer teachers - we'll advertise induction days over on the training and events page. Or contact us on the addresses below for more info.
If you are a Christian Aid volunteer teacher, why not join us at a regional training day. Take a look at our training and events page to see if there are any coming up near you.
Or check out our new Christian Aid Tours - the next is this autumn, visiting our partners in Delhi, Agra, the Taj Mahal, Jaipur and Udaipur. To be part of a small group that will get to see our development work at the front line - take a look at www.christianaid.org.uk/tours and find out how to sign up!
